CSRS Facilities Planning Meeting
The Lafayette Parish School System has hired CSRS to oversee the development of a Master Facilities Plan to assess the current and future needs of our schools and facilities. The next community input meeting will be held at both JW Faulk Elem (cafeteria) on November 10th at 6pm and Plantation Elementary School (cafeteria) on November 12th at 6 pm. This meeting is to get input from the community in regards to the conditions of our buildings and the projected demographics of our system. These community input meetings are very important. This is where our voices will be heard. Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend.

Fleece Jackets
FYI: The Fleece Jackets are on back order from the manufacturer. We hope to fullfill all orders and deliver to the students by December 4th. We are VERY sorry for the delay and will keep everyone posted of any changes.

Labels for Education
UPDATE: The totals are in!!! We've collected 2,128 points during the program period!!! WOW!!! Thanks to everyone who collected and sent in their labels. Super 1 will be matching this number point for point. This will be very beneficial to our school and is much appreciated.
Super1 Foods will provide a matching donation for all Campbell's Labels for Education points collected between Sept. 1, 2009 and Nov. 13, 2009. All labels should be submitted to the school by Nov. 15th to qualify for the matching program.

Thank you, Super 1 Foods for donating pumpkins. Each class received a pumpkin to decorate. Pumpkins will be displayed in the main hallway near the cafeteria. Stop by to see how talented our students are!
A huge thanks to Christi Brignac for organizing the 1st 6 weeks Teacher Treats. Breakfast was provided to the teachers on Sept. 30th on behalf of the PTO in appreciation of all they do for our children. Volunteers that provided dishes were Christi Brignac, Suzanne Martin, Barbara P'Poole, Gretchen Shauberger, Heather Faul, Tina Thornton, Stacey Brady, Christi Latour, Vicki Delhomme, Angela Evans, Karen Thow, Carissa Landry, Emilie Boudreaux, Jamie Curry, Edie Wilcox, Jordan Tinney, Regine Dade, Andrea Poff, Nileta Fruge. Thanks to all of you for making the breakfast possible!
Thanks to Beth Adams, Marci Holmes, Kim Martin and Denise Kidder for helping with Picture Day! Your assistance was crucial to the photographers!
