Employee Appreciation Week
Employee Appreciation Week will be celebrated throughout our school the week of May 10th through May 14th. The theme for this week is along the same lines as the school theme, "Mission: Success". It is,"Starship Milton: 2009-2010, Mission Accomplished".If you can offer assistance with any of the following, please let me know as soon as possible. UPDATE: The following are the items in most need of help with as of 5/2/10:
1) Volunteers to sit with classes during the Friday May 14th Luncheon from 1:00-2:30pm.
2) 2 Liter Drinks/Water for Friday's Luncheon.
3) Donations to absorb the cost of Friday's Luncheon. (approx. $250)
4) Volunteers to help with decorating the hallway and teacher's lounge on Friday May 7th from 2pm-3pm.
5) Family/Business sponsors to host a Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch type treat for the teachers on Tues, Wed, or Thurs.
6) Donations of gifts to be used for the drawing during the Friday luncheon.
Friday, May 14th Luncheon: Outside Luncheon for ALL employees. 1) We are accepting donations to absorb the cost of this luncheon. 2) Plates, cups, forks, napkins and cold drinks are needed, as well. 3) Volunteers are needed to sit with each class during the luncheon, from 1:00-2:30.
Themed T-Shirts: All employees will be receiving a themed t-shirt. We are in need of volunteers to help roll, tie, and name tag the shirts. We will also need volunteers to help deliver the shirts to the employees that don't have office mailboxes (e.g. bus drivers).
Invitations: We will be sending out invitations to ALL employees to personally invite them to attend the Friday luncheon. We are in need of a volunteer to design the invitation, provide the cardstock, print the invitations, and deliver them to the employees that don't have office mailboxes (e.g. bus drivers).
Decorations: We will be decorating the main hallway and teacher's lounge with our theme and are in need of volunteers to assist with the decorating and volunteers to donate decorations.
Gifts: We would like to have drawings during the Friday luncheon to give away various gifts to the employees. We are accepting donations of items to be given away in the drawing. ANYTHING would be greatly appreciated.
Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch: If any families or businesses would like to sponsor a breakfast, brunch, lunch or even some sort of snack/treat for the employees on Mon, Tues, Wed, or Thurs, please contact me for details.
